Here are some questions that we are frequently asked. If you have additional questions that are not covered here, please feel free to give us a call at (304) 340-1401.

1. What are the Office hours?

We schedule appointments Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. On Saturdays, we see patients from 9:00am until noon. On Sunday, our office is closed except for emergencies.

2. Will you see our pet if I have an emergency?

We always accept emergencies if you are our *current client – regardless of the day or time!  Any non-client emergencies are accepted as our schedule allows.

3. Do I need to have an appointment?

Yes, patients are seen by appointment.  We will try to schedule any routine appointment within 24 hours of your phone call.

4. What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, Check, Mastercard, Discover and Visa

5. Can I make payments?

At this time, we do not accept payments.  Full payment is required at the time of service.

6. Do you spay and neuter cats and dogs?

We are a mobile practice. Because spaying and neutering dogs and cats requires gas anesthesia and hospitalization, we do not provide this service.  We will assist you in locating a small animal practice for this service if you would like.

7.  Do you castrate horses and livestock?

We provide surgical castration for horses and livestock right on your farm. Horse castration is done while the patient is lying down. Goat, sheep and bull castration is done standing.

8. Which animals does your practice see?

We are happy to examine, diagnose and treat just about any animal that you have!  Our x-ray unit, ultrasound machine and endoscope are all portable which allows the veterinary hospital to come to you. Some procedures may need to be referred to a specialty hospital. We will guide you with that decision.

9.  If my pet needs additional medication after your visit, how do we purchase the medicine?

We recognize that we do not have an office building for you to stop by and purchase medications.  We are happy to send you any refills on your pet’s medicine or we can deliver them to your home/office.  Please call us for arrangements of this service.

10.  Do you board pets?

Because we are mobile, we do not board pets.

11.  How much are your services?

We encourage you to ask us the prices of any of our services either on the phone or at the time of the house call or farm call visit. Some of our prices are listed on different pages of our website.  If there is a particular service that you would like to have priced, please call or email us for that cost.  In some instances, we have “package” services that may save you money.  We attempt to bring the highest quality veterinary service to your pet at a competitive price.

*NOTE: “Current client” is a client whose pet/animal has been seen by us in the last 12 months.
